Our Solution
We implemented IoT tracking tags on the truck shipments to monitor temperature and humidity levels and maintain food safety measures. IoT devices can helo detect malfunctions in equipment using SCATA. With dashboards and reporting, we could identify issues before they happened, allowing time to correct the problem more efficiently.

The grocery chain was able to control their supply chain in advance when vulnerable items arrived on location and remove them from their inventory rather than passing them to the customer. The grocer could monitor their equipment and complete preventative maintenance issues before they became inefficient and produced other greenhouse gasses than needed to reduce the environmental footprint and food waste. The grocery chain had less supply chain costs due to less need for replacement orders and loss of products due to lengthened shipping times.
